Bonnie C. Nicholson, Ph.D.
I am an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, Director of Training for the Doctoral Program in Counseling Psychology, and Assistant Chair for the Department of Psychology. I earned my PhD in 2001 at Marquette University and have been at USM since 2002. I teach courses in counseling skills, supervision, and general psychology as well as supervise graduate practicum experiences in the Counseling & Assessment Clinic. My research interests include parenting and the exploration of protective factors which promote positive parenting, especially in families at risk for poor parenting and child outcomes.
